Mess

The institute has its huge mess, which serves healthy and nutritious cuisines to its students.

Mess Facilities

• Mess facility is an integral part of the college, which provides wholesome, nutritious & homely food to all hostellers, faculty & staff members.
• The mess serves Vegetarian Food only and operates in self service mode.
• The mess provides morning tea, regular breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and tea, dinner and milk to all hostellers.
• The menu of the items is designed in consideration with requirements of the students and nutrition is added to make it healthy and complete.
• The stay in the hostel gives a sense of solidarity amongst the students. Mess caters to the tastes of the students of different region and students with varied culinary preferences.
• Mess menu is planed and managed by the management in consultation with the students.

Canteen

The institute has its own canteen, which serves healthy and nutritious food to its students at subsidized rates. The menu varies from spicy samosas, wafers to full-meals. The students also have a wide range of chocolates and soft drinks to choose from.

We understand that most of the students moving away from home feel out of place; hence we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe stay in the campus. The University offers separate hostels for boys and girls supervised 24X7 by wardens and vigilant security personnel. Life-on-campus not only helps students to study but to socialize with their peers. Students have the luxury of being located outside the bustle of the city, yet not far from the attractions of the city during weekends. Friendships generated in the students’ life lasts longer.
Every effort is made to make students feel at home while their stay at the hostels.

To make the stay of the students a pleasant one, various events, activities and celebrations like colorful evening with various cultural activities within the hostels are a constant feature. Talent hunt, literary events are also organized frequently. Sports and cultural clubs have been created for the students to enhance their participation and knowledge. The common room of each hostel is well equipped with LCD, Magazines & Newspapers.

With around 50 families of faculty and staff members’ staying on the campus, the students have the advantage of getting guidance even after the college hours and at the weekends.

A fully fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation.
The College runs bus for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students. The students intending to avail the transport facility need to inform the transport officer at the time of admission.

Library occupies a place of pride Raj Krupa Institute of Nursing and is an essential component of the college’s outstanding research and education mission. Recognizing the role of library and information services in meeting the requirements of the college’s academic, research and training programmers, the Library was set-up as one of the key divisions of the Gujarat Nursing Council & Shri Govind Guru University.
It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. The library has a ready stock of books, journals, magazines and newsletter from all over the Gujarat, replete with all kinds of support activities, like photocopying, audio-visual rooms, electronic media section, mapped with various reputed libraries in India.
Apart from the Central Library, each Department too has its own Departmental Library which caters to customized needs of Students and Faculty Members and helps to share Conducive Academic Atmosphere with acoustic settings and resources

Communication, awareness and prevention are essential for personal safety. Raj Krupa Institute of Nursing takes a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and secure environment for the entire campus community. The key features of campus security are:

Ragging in an offence under UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher education institution 2009. Raj Krupa Institute of Nursing has formed an anti-ragging committee that governs the prevention of any means of Ragging within the College.
